Listening to new worlds

is a podcast about ambient and trance. It can be understood as a curated collage of thoughts about the roots of ambient music, ambient dancefloors in the past and present and a particular scene which evolved around it. Collided with trance music various new understandings are created. Let’s have a short trip together towards failed narratives.

The original broadcast was live at the Studio of Radio Angrezi and on radioangrezi.de. The Radio Studio was decorated like a “Ambient Bar” – a type of Bar which goes through a sort of revival lately – with ambient light installations, beanbags for seating, cloud curtains and cushion everywhere.
